Brief

Day 1. Arrival in Chongqing
Our guide will pick you up at Chongqing airport and transfer to the hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2. Great Hall of People, Chongqing Zoo, Three Gorges Museum, General Stewell Museum, Erling Park
Be picked up from your hotel.
Drive to visit The Great Hall of People, a giant traditional building with a large square, where plenty of people do morning and evening exercise everyday.
Then we will visit Chongqing Zoo. The zoo is located at the western suburb of the main urban area and occupies more than 60 hectares of land. There are 230 kinds of more than 4500 rare and precious wild animals be shown in this zoo throughout the year, among them 80 percent of the animals belong to world rare species and national protecting important animals. Pandas are most popular among of that. Visitors can actually play with them and take pictures with them.

Visit China Three Gorges Museum. China Three Gorges Museum, also called Chongqing Museum, is a comprehensive museum of history and art. Except presentating the the history and culture of the Three Gorges, the museum has over 40 exhibiting halls with about 100,000 pieces of relics, which spans over 3000 years history. The sections of relics of the Ba-Shu culture exhibitions Ba-Shu bronze weapons. Terra cottas and sculptures of the Han dynasty reflects the social life of the Han dynasty with their vivid appearances and designs. Chongqing Museum also exhibitions some traditional cultural relics such as pictures and calligraphies of masters since the Song dynasty.

Have a tour in General Stewell Museum, which has intriguing collection of World War ll memorabilia of the famed Flying Tigers.
Move on to visit the Erling Park, one of the best places to have a birds-eye-view of the whole city and get a general idea of the Yangtze River.

Be transferred to hotel after the whole day tour.

Day 3. Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum, Ciyun Temple, Ciqikou ancient town, Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street
Be picked up from your hotel.

Drive to visit the Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum. Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum is the only private specialized Chinese medicine museum. It is the right place to know something about Chinese medicine in the past and its development. The museum collects more than ten thousand of medical relics and thousands of medical book.

Then experience Cable car over Yangtze River.

visit Ciyun Temple. Built in Tang Dynasty, Ciyun Temple is knowned as a Buddhist monastery combining the monk and Buddhist nun in history. The architectural design of the bulding is western style, but have Chinese architectural style features. A Jade Statue of Sakyamuni is consecrated at the center of the hall. Other highlights in the temple are Jingang Zhuang, Thousand-Buddha Cloth, Scripture and Banyan.

Move on to visit the Ciqikou Ancient Town. Covering an area of some 1.2 square kilometres, Ciqikou Ancient Town was famous for its production of porcelain during the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911). Many houses in Ci Qi Kou date from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Much of the two and three storey construction is of bamboo and timber. Along the streets are shops for porcelain and other items, some of the tea houses have performances of traditional Chinese music.

Walk on the Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street is business and commerical center of Chongqing and the first pedestrian street in China. There are more than 3,000 retailers and services located on the street.
You may find many kinds of food and brands here.

Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour.
