Grottoes. Beishan is one of five Dazu Rock Carving sites near the city of Dazu in the Chongqing municipality. Located 136 km from Chongqing, and 2 km norwest of Dazu county, Beishan Grotto contains graceful statue of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva with good preservation and elaborate craftsmanship. Each statues have its story and reveal the common Buddhist faith, an attraction tour guide is necessary.
