Temple of Zhangfei One Day Tour from Chongqing

Drive to visit the Temple of Zhangfei. Firstly built during the Three Kingdom Period (220 - 280), Zhangfei Temple was built for Zhang Fei, a famous general of Shu Kingdom. The temple was originally located at the foot of Fengfei Mountain, and was later sucessfully moved to a new site in Yunyang County. The new Zhangfei Temple is located 32 km west of the original one, facing Yunyang County across the Yangtze River. Travelers may find a rich collection of historical cultural relics, such as precious Chinese calligraphy works, inscribed boards, stone tablets, and couplets from Three Kingdoms Period to Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911).
